This zine is the introductory entry in a journal composed entirely of zines (Volume 4 of Unbound: A Journal of Digital Scholarship). Its authors propose zines as a powerful form of public writing in a time when traditional scholarly publishing is collapsing under the weight of its own neoliberal corruption. It presents principles and ideals for micropublishing, and a call to action to scholars.
